I'm not lonely with LOVEPLUS! 2009 X'mas @ Akiba Souken (part2 of 2)

Thanks to "LOVEPLUS", the dating simulation for Nintendo DS, we Akiba Souken Staff became "Rea-jyu(Japanese net-slang meaning people having a fulfilled "real" life)"s with girlfriends decided to hold a Christmas party.



At that time, we got information that cake shops in Tokyo will be selling "Love Plus" Christmas cakes. We spread out to buy the cakes only to reach the shops after they've sold out....

What awaits our first Christmas party together with our girlfriends....

Heartbroken not being to buy the limited cakes, we got back to our office to hold an emergent conference.

AS: "Well, although we couldn't buy the limited cakes, good job guys"
H: "We could've, if we only had a few more minutes"
Z: "Maybe we should've waited for the info at Shinjuku or Shibuya"
AS: "We knew that "LOVEPLUS Gents" would be pouring in, but selling out in minutes was unexpected"
H: "We weren't in luck this time. Why don't we go buy other cake?"
Z: "Yes, let's. Let's get a better cake to celebrate our Christmas."
AS: "I know a good shop in Jimbocho. How about going there?"
H: "What's it called?"
AS: " "Hakusuido". It's a confectionary store that's been around and it's quite delicious ^^"
Z: "I heard that name! It was in the comic, Honey and Clover"
AS: "It's that famous"
H: "All right then, that's where we'll go. I'd like a Buche de Noel"
AS: "So shall we head on to buy our Buche de Noel  ^^"
H＆Z: "Yippieee^^"

Changing the mood, we headed down to Jimbocho to get Buche de Noel.

The shop we went, Hakusuido is an old-established pastry shop that has been in business for 80 years. With the somewhat retro tasting simple cakes and pastry lined up, was loves by movie director Yasujiro Ozu and writer Kuniko Mukouda. The shop interior has a retro Showa-ish flavor, customers can enjoy shopping in a relaxed atmosphere.

My personal recommendation is the "Rare Cheesecake". Along with the light tasing cream cheese and sweet-sour blueberry jam topped on a crusty crust. Also the "Poodle", a butter cake with a poodle design. There is a eat-in space in the shop as well and I'd like to recommend readers to visit them when you're in the Jinbocho area.

As we reached "Hakusuido", we bought ourselves a marron cream Buche de Noel while being tempted by other attractive pastries, as we have decided. Then we hopped to Kentucky Fried Chicken and a supermarket and bought fried chicken and champagne thus the preparation for the party was completed.

AS: "With all the things in place, it's a bit early but shall we get started"
H: "Yup. Let's raise our champagne"
Z: "all right ^^"
AS＆H＆Z: " To our girlfriends"
AS: "However small, Isn't it nice to have a Christmas party with our girlfriends ^^ Isn't it Rinko?"
H: "The happiness to see you by my side Manaka!"
Z: "I feel my happiness Nene-saan"

Eating the chicken and cake heartily while chatting, we 3. It certainly tastes better than eating alone.

As the party hit its prime, we decided to switch on "Kanojo Tsushin", where the girlfriends chat to eachother using the Nintendo DS wireless communication feature. It is the moment of truth on how much the LOVEPLUS gents are treating them with affection.

Z: "So let's start the "Kanojo Tsushin ^^ "
AS: "I haven't been able to take her out because I've been busy... I hope she's not mad..."
H: "We've gone out but, I had some trouble kissing her..."
Z: " Too late for excuses now, let the mode begin"

Nene: "How's it going with your boyfriend?"
Manaka: "Tell us, tell us!"
Rinko: "Haven't been seeing much. Want him to take me out more!"

H＆Z: "That doesn't seem right, She wants you to take her out more"
AS: " I know but I've been busy... I'm sorry"

Rinko: "Can we hear your story?"
Manaka: "Well... we haven't had much kiss... As lovers I think we should have more "
Nene: "You're right"
Rinko: "Trouble there too, huh?"

AS＆Z "Uh-uh... It is a manner to kiss until girls' satisfaction"
H: "I'll do better..."

Rinko: "Can we hear your story?"
Manaka: "Tell us, tell us!"
Nene: "Well...I go on dates a lot"
Manaka: "That's great"

AS＆H: "You...you.. Rea-jyu!"
Z "lol. taping anime and my skinship with Nene-san is my daily routine "

AS: " It seems that the girls have a lot on their minds ^^"
H: "But this is almost the same as I did the "Kanojo Tushin" mode..."
Z: "I know it's too obvious but, they sometimes say the same lines..."
AS: " Don't say that..."
H: "LOVEPLUS girlfriend is nice.... but don't we want a real girlfriend"
AS: "ouch"
Z: "I want a real girlfriend too..."
H: "But it is true that LOVEPLUS got us to have this Christmas party"
Z: " That's right! Without LOVEPLUS, we'd all be spending Christmas alone"
H: "Great is LOVEPLUS that made this party happen"
AS＆Z: "LOVEPLUS is our savior!"
AS＆H＆Z "We're not lonely with LOVEPLUS!"
