Photo Report of “Chara-Hobby 2008”!! Miku Hatsune Itashya Race Car and JSDF vehicles on Display One of the biggest hobby event in Japan, “C3 x Hobby Chara-Hobby 2008” was held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba.

“C3 x Hobby Chara-Hobby” is one of the largest Character and Hobby Item event held every summer. 60 Character related companies participated displaying their new figure dolls, selling items sold exclusively for the event and live stage performances.About 70,000 visiters gathered for the event upgraded from 52,000 from last year.

Drawing attentions of many were “Mobilesuit GUNDAM 00 Second Season” and Vocaloid Hatsune-Miku. “Mobilesuit GUNDAM 00” based on display and sales of “GUN-Pura ( Plastic models from the series)” and holding live stage shows of the voice actors drawing many cheers from the ladies. On the other hand, for “Hatsune-Miku” sold out 1,000 action figure doll “Figma” within an hour both days for a successful launch. “Race Queens ( Models seen at race courses)” from “SUPER GT”, the top of Japanese motor racing- in which “Hatsune-Miku Studie GLAD BMW Z4 Ita-sha version” is participating - added extra glitz.

Also, a modeling demonstration of injection molder at “Chara-Hobby Plastic Model Musium” and JSDF's combat vehicle display and training experience drew many spectators.

The event was held at 9th ～11th Hall of Makuhari Messe n Chiba.Many company opened their booths and stages


Toy/Figure makers displayed their new line of products. Tamiya opened a Mini-4wd race course

Among Bandai booths, “Super Robot Taisen Z” was a fan favorite with people gathering for trial plays and talkshows by guests.
