"The Ultimate" Akiba-sound @ Shibuya! Live report of "Ultimate A-Style2"

"The Ultimate" Akiba-sound @ Shibuya! Live report of "Ultimate A-Style2" "Ultimate A-Style2 Limited Release Party" was held at club "amate-raxi" in Shibuya, Tokyo on January 25th.

This was a club event celebrating the release of the 2nd edition of Akiba-style dance compilation album "Ultimate A-Style2" on November 28th last year. Compared to the event held for the 1st album, the venue was bigger and also had a VJ to support the event. So with no further adiue, here's the "Ultimate A-Style2" report!

Extra tickets had to be sold after seeing there were 150 people waiting an hour before the opening. The opening act to stir up the enthusiastic audience was "HEAVENS WiRE". The atomosphere was warmed up with their trance music, their hit tunes and a piece from "Ultimate A-Style2". "Kz", a member of "livetune" who is known for Hatsune-Miku's "Re:Package" album followed with his electro and cool tunes and wrapped it up with his "killer" tune.

The 3rd act was "Samplingmaster MEGA" with his "heavy gauge gaba and hard-core beat to dance to". People were seen dancing to the beat here and there. MC rose and it was "DJ SHIMAMURA". He pumped up the house with his happy-hardcore and UK-hardcore tunes added with the combo of the DJ and MC.

Just when the party reached mid-term, "kors k" rocked the scene with tunes from house, trance to hard trance and collaborated with "MC KENT" who appeared with "still dope" and the hardcore time has begun! "Uraken" rose as to say "not recess time yet!!" and kept the audience on their feet.

The second half kicked off with the performance of DJ "REMO-CON" whose fame comes playing at big events.

Showed the ultimate technique by connecting "SW2K9", a tune from "Ultimate A-Style2" backwards surprising the audience. Mixing minimal-techno to the tech sound, the floor was taken to another serious atmosphere.But "Ryu*" changed all that by playing hi-speed, happy hardcore tunes when he climbed into the booth.He played "Gacha-gacha kyu-to figyu@meito (Ryu*Remix)" and popular tunes from Nico-nico Douga where the audience went wild.

The final 45 minutes of the show, the climax was all set for "REDALiCE". Hard core tunes played in the crimson set - the costume, the lighting - the floor was painted in red. The action and the arranged tunes by "REDALiCE" were very impressive. After he wrapped up the party with "Suiheisen Made Nan Mairu? (REDALiCE House Mix)" , which is recorded in "Ultimate A-Style2", the floor lighting turned to blue as to show the feeling the audience felt.

There were people hanging around to enjoy the atmosphere even after the party.
