TAF2009 "PandoraHearts" event report! Junko Minagawa and Kawasumi Ayako on hand "PandoraHearts" event was held at The Tokyo International Anime Fair 2009 (TAF2009)

"Pandora Hearts" is a new anime from a manga series serialized in the boy's manga magazine "GFantasy". It is described as a Gothic Action Mystery and the animation produced by XEBEC, music by Yuki Kajiura.

The event at TAF2009 welcomed Junko Minagawa as Oz Bezarius, Kawasumi Ayako as Alice, Toriumi Kousuke as Raven and Hanazawa Kana as Sharon Reinsworth. Talked about the anime in a classroom fashion.

During the character introduction, there were many restrictions from revealing the story as Toriumi confessed "I really can't say much (about his character Raven)". But still the voice actors seemed to have the same perspective as the fans.
"Oz is a bright 'normal' boy on the outside but carries much hurt inside."(Minagawa)
"Alice fights with a chained sword and it's a character of mystery." (Kawasumi)
"Sharon is a lady that often enjoys tea. Talks with Ishida's character 'Break' a lot."(Hanazawa)

There were interesting comments as "We might be able to give deeper insights in May('s special event)" that made the fans something to cheer about. The event ended with comments from the four.

"With all the foreshadowing, I'm sure you'll enjoy it more as the story goes."(Hanazawa)

・Oz Bezarius (CV：Junko Minagawa) Oz Bezarius is a 15 year old boy with blonde hair and green eyes from the prestigious Bezarius family of which his father is the head. The story of Pandora Hearts starts when Oz turns 15 years old. During the ceremony to celebrate this reaching of adulthood, he is dragged into the Abyss for the crime of 'existing'. There he meets the chain Alice and makes a contract with her.
・Alice (blood-eyed black rabbit:B-rabbit) (CV:Kawasumi Ayako） Alice first appears as a chain that Oz contracts with in the Abyss. Is ferocious and has a Calamity Jane persona calling as her "belongings". Fights with a chained sword in a rabbit form. Although being a chain, has a human form and a individual personality. A character full of mystery.
・Raven (CV：Toriumi Kousuke) A young man from Pandora that joins Oz's journey. Dressed fully in black and deeply hatted.Uses its power to somewhat control the B-rabbit through Oz. Mainly uses his gun and always calmly completes the mission. Not much of a talker but shows his soft side to Oz.
・Sharon Reinsworth (CV:Hanazawa Kana） The Lady of the Reinsworth household. Sharon is a member of Pandora and looks like a young girl. She has a legal contract with Eques the Unicorn. Sharon and Break have a close relationship.
・Xarxes Break (CV:Ishida Akira) Commonly known as Break, he is a member of Pandora and a servant of the Reinsworth household. Break seems like a carefree character, never serious and always smiling. Break's true motive is to find the truth behind what happened 100 years ago. He adores sweets and cakes. He has a legal contract with the Mad Hatter.
