"Japan Anime Collaboration Market 2009 (JAM2009)" opened at AKIBA SQUARE in Akihabara UDX on October 15th. It will go on until the 18th.
"Japan Anime Collaboration Market" is an event featuring the secondary usage of existing production and the creation of new business from them. This year will be the 3rd time being held and will have 2 Business Days on the 15th and 16th and Public Days on the 17th and 18th.
"EVANGELION" was taken up as a successful example with the showing of the collaboration with local revitalization programs. It also exhibited items from "Eva-cell phone" to the food/clothing products and their project protocol. Other local revitalization programs becoming popular thanks to titles like "Lucky Star" and "Summer Wars" were traditional crafts and kites with "Sgt. Frog" on display and collaboration products of "Sengoku Basara" were on special display.
There will also be stage events, symposiums, movie showing with an event starring voice actors on public day. The hours are from 10:00 to 5:00, free admission.
