Recover with this! "Dissidia: Final Fantasy Potion" "Dissidia: Final Fantasy Potion", a drink based on a recovering item from the Final Fantasy series was spread out through Japan.

"Dissidia: Final Fantasy Potion" is a drink based on "Potion", a HP-recovering item from the popular RPG series "Final Fantasy"(FF). There has been "Final Fantasy XII Potion" and "Final FantasyVII Potion" prior to this edition, with the two previous versions gained popularity via their distinctive taste, scent and packaging.

This 3rd version is a collaboration with Suntory Ltd. to promote the game's release of "Dissidia: Final Fantasy" in December 18th for PSP. Taking the names of the 2 groups from the game "Dissidia: Final Fantasy", they are offering 2 types of flavor- "Cosmos" and "Chaos".Cosmos (white can) is the grapefruit flavored soda and the black canned "Chaos" is soda with a Muscat flavor.

The design of the cans are 16 in all, 8 for Cosmos and Chaos each.

They are priced at 200yen a can, and 4,800yen for a 24 can case(tax included).

Many shops in Akihabara had stacks ready for sales, and some shops have put handles for customers buying in boxes. Because consumers are able to choose from the characters, SofMap Akihabara Honkan told us " Popular characters are sold out quicker than others. Cloud Strife & Sephiroth from FFVII are popular here but the other cans from FFI to IV .which younger users are not so familiar with, are struggling a bit."

Our Akiba-Soken writer tasted the two and said that Cosmos had a crisp taste while Chaos had a stronger fizz and a richer taste. Also the official Website states, "When Cosmos and Chaos mix, something might happen..."
