Maid/Cross-dress Bar "Good Rock-BOYS:STYLE-" is holding a "GUNDAM 00" event.
"Good Rock-BOYS:STYLE-" is a full bar with girls in male attire. It regularly operates under the name of "Good Rock-MAID:STYLE-" from Fridays to Sundays in maid clothes but it irregularly holds cross-dressed events. This is a sister shop of "ZOID"(open from Fridays to Sundays in maid clothes as well), which is known as a secretly known shot bar and holds collaborated events.
This "GUNDAM 00" event is held between 20th to the 22nd at both shops where staff will dress up as characters and serving special menus and services. There will be cosplay of male characters at "Good Rock" on the first floor and female characters' cosplay at "ZOID" on the 2nd floor. The limited special menus are taken from the characters from lingos like "Meister", "Union", "A-LOWS" to famous lime like "I am GUNDAM".
The shop consists from counter and tables seating 2 or 4. There are more than 20 seats. Related BGMs and movies played during the event but it regularly plays foreign rock music. There are many customers that come back for this unique rock/alcohol combination.
The shop is filled with a relaxed atmosphere with female staff rounding each table for service. The owner commented, "I let them do what they want to do as possible" "Having them making decisions on many things, maybe I'm the one being used"

・The 1st floor has an atmosphere easy for first timers, the 2nd has many kinds of liquor and all delicious
・(compared to other maid-shops) food and drinks are delicious
・Many 30 to 40 year olds gives it a different twist to having teens (in a otaku way)
What I, the writer of this article, who normally does not go to these maid-shops felt ( it might look like I'm praising it a too much, but that is not because of the drinks).
・Because having an event like this, many female fans seemed like having a better time than male fans
・Able to imagine BL through girls in male attire and Yuri
・The small comfortable atmosphere and a great service and hospitality (not too close or left alone too much)
・The quiet bartender
