tomaid cafe "cafe la vie en rose" opens! differentiates others with live performances

we have visited the shop to report to our readers.

the setting.

Once upon a time, there was a large mansion
There lived maids that are sisters with colorful personalities.
The master of the mansion loved roses. So he made a cafe so he can show his roses to many people. the people who visited there smiled happily and called the cafe "la vie en rose".

The seating is for 24 people (4 at the counter and 10 tables for 2). It gives a very small but cozy feeling that you can see all ends of the shop and the closeness with the maids. The interior is simple but theme based with small roses decorated quietly. Ren Takahashi, the shop master wanted the place "to be a place that the customers can be close not just with the maids but among themselves" so the shop does not have the usual "Okaerinasaimase (welcome home)" but "Youkoso (welcome)" greeting. (The leaving phrase differs with each maid)The costume is basically is maid suits other than tie-up events.

As it was the opening day, the shop was filled with people from the start with 7 maids throughout the day. "There will be about 4 maids regularly" we were told with every staff having maid or food serving experiences showing a bit of the "quality" that they seek. The maids are grouped in "Ane (elder sister) team" and "Imouto (younger sister) team" that customers may enjoy a taste of Yuri from "Oneesama" lines they may hear.

Many of the maids are aiming to be an idol or a voice actor. So for people trying to find a good icebreaker, a small talk in that field or a topic from their personal Blogs might be a good idea.

The menus range from drinks to food and desserts (minimized menu until the 15th). The original cocktails also rich in variety from "tasty","New",and " Bizarre"(each with maids' namecards)

The biggest sales point is the live song/instrument performance. The other shops' performers usually do not work there but here the maids actually does the live act(customers may name the maid that they want to hear).

They can request a tune from their repertoires making it easier for people having a hard time trying to go in a maid cafe or not knowing what to do there.

There was a live performance when we were at the shop, a maid was playing the piano. "It was my first time so I was very nervous" she said. But her performance was worth the big round of applause she got. There will be a live performance with no order throughout the week.

This is the right place for those tired of the noisy game playing maid cafes and being waited so long, or for people who just want to relax.
