The opening ceremony for Idol cafe "AKIBA TENKYU" was held June 5th.
"AKIBA TENKYU" is a shop that opened this February by Shoheibashi Dori in Akihabara. First opened as a DJ cafe, it made a renewal opening June 5th as an "Idol cafe". The basic concept set as "A place that supports girls aiming to be an idol", the customers watch the girls growing as an idol. In a sence, it is a reality "THE IDOLM@STER". The system of the shop are as follows:
･300yen charge/ 1 drink order needed
･stage(1 song) 500yen appoint fee
･issue a "producer card" for 300yen (regular point cards issued for free)
･"producer card" holder are able to buy original goods and request their favorite stage costumes
･A point is added per 1000yen billing. 2-shot photo can be taken with 30points, and a solo closed-event will be held with 10 customers with 50 points gather.
･CD debut with the producers' favorite pharase will be possible with a certain number of solo-live event held.
There are 17 seats. There are 8 new idols that also work as a staff. The hours are from 4pm to 10pm weekdays and 2pm to 10pm on weekends and holidays.
There were songs sung by 5 idols including the 22 year old Shouko Maejima who was crowned as the 2009 Plum Ambassador, appealing themselves to the bloggers, press and affiliates.
