Mobile Suit BAR report! Unified and now a neutral Side6 "Mobile Suit BAR ZEON/Earth Federation" that opened late 2007 has renewed and become an unified shop this February.

The shop is based on the world of "Mobile Suit GUNDAM", from settings and interior, staff uniform to menu is related to the program and its mobile suits. The famous scenes are played on the large screen next to the counter everyday.

The all female staff are all Gundam otaku. There is a selection at the interview on Gundam knowledge and cosplay and an otaku on anime/game/comics.

It operated on 2floors as "ZEON" and "Federation" until February. Now unified as a neutral zone Side6 with the concept expanded. It was only up to "Char's Counterattack" before, but now has W/X/V/SEED/00/Igloo on the menu.

The shop is quite spacious with about 40 seats including the 10 counter seats. There are many Gundam goods on the counter brought by the regular customers including the order made "M'Quve's vase". It is only open at nights on weekdays as a bar but opens for lunch on weekends. Reservations for parties and photo sessions possible.

Separated from other maid cafes and bars, the customer range differs as well. 70% of the customers are non-akiba office workers and there are many customers that come alone or as a couple. According to the shop master, "The customers have heated conversations on Gundam and other robot animes" noting there are many repeating customers that are fans of "Nekketsu" animes.

One of the reasons for this is the foods and drinks served here. Hand made by the staff, customers can enjoy good foods and cocktails reasonably, with the most expensive cocktail priced at 900yen. There are food and drinks named after the mobile suits and famous quotes with ingredients unlisted, (although the staff will tell you when asked) making it enjoyable while waiting and eating.

The mobile suit ranges from the most popular to the more unknown ones. The specialized mobile suits have stronger alcohol levels compared to the productive models and the coloring as well. There is a wide range especially in the GM models that has many variations. The popular menus are "Red Comet" ,"Char Original--" Char related menus.

Staff are set as "Operators" and customers "Soldiers" in the shop with the ranks going up with the points saved. Events are held on a monthly basis with non-Gundam events, such as "Gurren Lagann" events as well.

As "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn"'s animation coming out this winter, there will be Unicorn related menu expected to be added.
