Megumi Hayashibara's 「Plenty of grit」 on Sale!!　New single Featuring the Opening and Ending themes of [SlayersRevolution] Megumi Hayashibara's new single 「Plenty of grit」 came out in stores in Japan.

Megumi Hayashibara is a well known voice acctress that has played “Rei Ayanami“ of "Neon Genesis Evangellion", "Ranma Saotome" of "Ranma ½" , and "Ai Haibara" of "Case Closed/Detective Conan". Her voice cover a wide range of characters, ranging from a voice of kids - both boys and girls, to a cool and mature lady character. She has also pursued her singing career by releasing 34 singles and 13 albums so far. She has been the pioneer of singing-voice actresses like the rising stars Nana Mizuki and Yukari Tamura.

This new single “Plenty of grit” will be the played as the opening theme of “Slayers/Revolution” (on air from July 2008) which she will be doing the voice over for the main character “Lina Inverse”. It also contains its ending theme “Revolution”, both songs' lyrics written by herself , credited as “MEGUMI”

This song has the “Good old” Anime song feel that an in-store sign at Comic Torano-ana Honten called it “THIS IS THE MAINSTREAM.....” A die hard popularity that expands from the late 1990's, having a new TV series 11 years from the last one,
the sleeve on the CD says it all. “SLAYERS are Back!”
