“CLANNAD AFTER STORY”, Hikari Sports' Extra was handed out exclusively at Akihabara

From “CLANNAD AFTER STORY”, Hikari Sports' Extra was handed out at Akihabara.

This handing out of the extra news paper about the 1st episode of CLANNAD at Akihabara was an unannounced surpise event for the TV animation that started on the 3rd. Staff handed out 2000 extras (1000 each store) at GAMERS Honten and ANIMATE Akihabara store from 11am of the 4th.

The extra was about the baseball game's final score of the “Furukawa Bakers” on the 1st episode of CLANAD. Making it look like a Championship Game final of a professional baseball extra, the title of the paper, “Hika-Spo”（Published by: Hikarizaka Sports News) had, box scores and stories on Tomoya Okazaki and the Furukawa father-son pitching relay were printed as well as the actions of the “Beauty Girls”（ Tomoyo/Mei/ Misae/Kyou/Kotomi) are also mentioned. FYI, the joke was on – as you all guessed- Sunohara.

Volume 1 of “CLANNAD AFTER STORY” DVD will be on sale on December 3rd and shops are taking reservations for the 8 Volume set at Akihabara. Also “Canned Bread”of “CLANNAD AFTER STORY” are sold exclusively at JR Akihabara Station.
