Costume Rental Shop “Cosren” Drawing Tourists! Have Your Photo Shot At The Studio!

Costume rental shop “Cosren” , located in the Hirosue-cho area seems to be attracting many tourists.



The costume rental specializing for cosplayers, “Cosren” opened in the Akihabara inernet cafe “Wa Style Cafe” in June 2007, and now have moved into  a  nearby photo studio  “Atelier・Photogenics”


Having over 50 costume available in stock, Cosren is one of the famous shops that is popular not just from cosplayers and tourists, but from event organizing companies as well. According to the shop, about 70% of their customers are touristswith photo taken from a professional photographer is also popular.（*With Additional charge）They also noted that “We are top class in Anime related costumes” “We offer props and optional service for specialized stylists too”

Compared to 20,000 to 30,000 Yen for  buying a new costume, the rental fees very reasonable - 2,500Yen for a one-day rental, 2,500Yen for one night and 4,500Yen for a one-week rental.The fees will be lower if the costumes are worn only in the studio.Although most of the costumes are for women, but there are many male customers too.

Customers can ask which costumes are available, make reservation and they are taking requests for new costumes.  You might want to book your costume before its too late especially on Cosplay event days and school festival season.
