PS3 "WAY OF THE SAMURAI 3" STRIKES！MORE MOVES AND MORE ENDINGS RECOMMENDED BY "IKEMEN" STAFF "WAY OF THE SAMURAI 3" for PlayStation3 hit the stores.

"WAY OF THE SAMURAI 3" is an action-adventure game by Spike and Aquire set in the Warring states peiod in Japan.

A player taking the role of a wandering ronin, can choose to join from the the three clans ( Sakurai, Ouka , or the villagers) in "Gishu Amana" . The biggest catch is the variations of the actions the player can choose from. The player may choose to betray the clan or just roam around doing nothing.

The graphics has been upgraded since "WAY OF THE SAMURAI 2". Also, new system "Sudden Move" can make the player suddenly kill or beg for mercy and "Mine-uchi"(pronounced "mee-neh-uchi") which a player will engage combat using the back of the sword, not killing the opponent or just let him go.

These new moves can be activated at almost any point of the game. Using these moves, the plotline branches. Another system "Tose" will be important to gain faith from the clans, and "Partner" system which a companion will help the player. Every step will change the outcome of the story - like a real samurai warrior.

A sword being the soul of the samurai, a player can choose from over 100 swords or construct a sword of your own.

SofMap Akihabara Honten and SofMap Akihabara Amusement-kan had a special area for the game.
The store was filled with comedian Koei Kano (who advertises the game)'s phrase, and many foreign tourists were facsinated by the real graphics of the samurai.
