Wrap up 2008 with "Gundam 00" & "Lelouch "!　Anime Mags on sale on the 10th Introducing the latest issue of 3 major names in Anime Magazines (all on sale the 10th every month) "ANIMAGE (Tokuma Shoten)" "ANIMEDIA (Gakken)" and "NewType (Kadokawa Shoten)" !

"Kuroshitsuji" topped the covers of Animage and Animedia, while "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" was the cover of "Newtype" in last month's December issues. But in this month, "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" covered Animage, and Animedia and Newtype went with "Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Second Season".

Each magazines have appendixes for the upcoming new year such as greeting cards and calenders.

As a year-end issue publication went on sale, we have wrapped up the number of times that each production was on the cover in this year.

・"Mobile Suit Gundam 00" (including "Second Season")　15 times
・"Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" (including "R2") 12 times
・"Kuroshitsuji" "Soul Eater" twice each
・"Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" "Macross Frontier" "Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (New Animation)"
"Shakugan no Shana II" "Kobato. " once each

28 times out of the 36 covers were topped by either "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" or "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion". That calculates up to 75% of the time these titles were on the cover. Also, summing up the times for each magazine, "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" "Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion" had 5 times and 4 times respectively.

With the titles popular to both genders alike, this "domination" lies largely on the trend of trying to attract more female readers. The two titles have swept the covers 3 times each!

Other titles, "Kuroshitsuji" "Soul Eater" that are popular among women has topped twice, "Macross Frontier" and Studio Ghibli's "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" was on the cover once.
