"Taiko: Drum Master.Wii" "Hit" the stores !"Taiko no Tatsujin Wii (Taiko Drum Master Wii)" went out on sale.




 "Taiko no Tatsujin" is a popular arcade drumming game. A drum simulating the taiko is played in time with music. With its simple control ability, wide selection of tunes, and variety of difficulty settings, it is favored by for young and old, men and women alike. It has also been adapted for PS2 and Nintendo DS.


"Taiko no Tatsujin Wii" is the first of the series to be adapted Nintendo Wii. Songs include, "Kiseki" by GReeeeN, "Shuchi-shin" by Shuchi-shin and "Umiyuki" by Jero from J-pop. Also also includes "Take It! Sailor Uniform" (from "Lucky Star") and "Do-Dai" (from "THE IDOLM@STER") for the otaku group. The 70 titles available is the most for a family use game title.

"Memory Album" and "Mainichi Challenge Dojo" are added as a original feature. "Memory Album" is a diary seeing the drum character "Watadon" grow as the player progresses, receive letters from taiko-friends and get a movie for good play, so the players can use this feature to see how much effort/time has been put in to.

"Mainichi Challenge Dojo" will be a challenge mode for the players to clear. The missions range from a tutorial level to how fast the player can drum to passing a given song. The mission will be fit for the level of each player and awarded a grade after the players completes the mission.

The box package will include the drum, sticks, drum stands that is connected to Wii remote with "Taiko  Drum Master Wii" software. Players might want to buy another customized controller set for 2 players, but it seems that it is playable with only the Wii remote.


Game shops in Akihabara played demo-movies for Santa Clauses' gift that the whole family to enjoy during the holiday season.
