"Queen's Blade Collection Card Gum Ver.2.0" Introduced to Akiba!

Megahouse "Queen's Blade Collection Card Gum Ver.2.0" by Megahouse launched its initial sales in Akihabara on the 17th.

Megahouse "Queen's Blade Collection Card Gum Ver.2.0" is a "Shokugan" (lit. "Food Toy" a toy or a card that comes with a snack) featuring "Queen's Blade", a popular series of visual combat books published by Hobby Japan, based on the licensed works from Lost Worlds and has sold over 300,000 copies. The gum comes with a plastic picture card of 21 characters (39 in all), data of which covers even to the characters' measurements.

Original cards drawn by famous artists, the official site calls it "the collectable series". Queen's Blade has many spin-offs from drama CDs, novelization, to action figures. A television series is set to start in 2009.

20pack-box set

Kotobukuya and AsoBit City, where the initial sales was launched, had a special area near the entrance. Attention was drawn at special photos given per a 20 pack box purchace. A second chance instant lottery for an card autographed by the artists boosted the box-buyer's numbers.

An event was held at Radio Kaikan's 8th floor hall. Official card games and free head-on tryouts on related products and workshops were held.			Promotion cards were handed out to the participants.

The official "Queen's Blade The Duel" card games, original Queen's Blade card game tryouts and free-play/introductory sessions were held for all users from entry level to master users. From heated duels to just having fun, participants enjoyed themselves in their own way.
