"Fullmetal Alchemist BOX SET ARCHIVES" went out on sale.

Fullmetal Alchemist is a manga serialized in Square Enix's Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine.The world of Fullmetal Alchemist is styled after European Industrial Revolution. Edward and Alphonse Elric are two alchemists brothers who search for the legendary Philosopher's Stone, a powerful object which would allow them to recover their bodies. Despite its rather heavy setting, its action scenes has drawn attention and gained popularity both in and outside Japan. It is also known as "Hagaren" from fans in Japan. It was adapted into an animated television series later followed by a movie sequel "Fullmetal Alchemist the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa". It will be back on TV as "FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST" from April 2009.

"Fullmetal Alchemist BOX SET ARCHIVES" can be considered as the complete collection from the TV animation series. The box set contains:

4 special disc cases that hold all 28 discs included.The 5 illustrations are all new works of Yoshiyuki Ito.

The size containing this 28 CD＋DVD＋Blu-ray disc set is as big as a regular home vieo game console box. 68,250yen will be needed to own this gigantic set (tax included).There is an interview of comedian Hiroshi Shinagawa on its official Website saying "Please PAY and get it!"

There will be a postcard enclosed for a chance to take part in the limited event that will be held at Tokyo's JCB Hall on April 4th. There will be Park Romi and Rie Kugimiya with viewing of a special movie at the event.
