A new quarterly manga magazine "GELATIN" out!　Renowned Artists like KEI and Ju Ayakura assisted the launch The new quarterly manga magazine "GELATIN"'s first issue 2009 spring has gone out.

"GELATIN" is the new quarterly manga magazine from Wani Magazines. The sales pitch is "Top notch All Original Bishojo Comic" and on the back cover "The new Cute, Sexy, Cool, Impulsive, Sensual, All original works comic magazine" is printed. The magazine seems to put emphasis on "Moe" of bishojo characters and its scenarios and artworks.

16 artists help the launching of this "2009 spring inauguration issue" (including the cover art). Artists' list includes Hanaharu Naruko ("Kamichu!"), KEI (Hatsune-Miku VOCALOID2 Character Vocal Series), Ju Ayakura (artworks for light novel "Spice and Wolf"), Sakurako Gokurakuin ("Sekirei") gourgeosly for its inagurational issue. It also has an interview of Range Murata and Shigeki Maeshima along the comics.

The 1,500 yen might seem a bit pricey for a comic magazine, but 160 of the 192 pages are in color.

AKIHABARA GAMERS main store had many posters put up as well as showing some pages for customers to see, and the stacks in front of the cashier made it difficult not to notice. comic TORANOANA main store had the magazines out before noon on the 4th, but there were people taking them to the cashier as soon as they were out. There will be a special postcard giveaway for the shoppers at Akihabara.(8 cards in all)
