"Resident Evil 5" for for Xbox360 & PS3 went out on sale.

"Resident Evil 5", known in Japan as Biohazard 5, is the seventh installment in the Resident Evil survival horror video game series for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It was developed and published by Capcom. As the Japanese title suggests, the players are face zombies and creatures roaming the mansion and surrounding region are the results of these experiments, which have exposed the mansion's personnel and various animals and insects to a highly contagious and mutagenic biological agent known as the T-Virus. The real-life creatures and the dark imagery gives the game the scariness. It is considered to be the top horror game in Japan and has sold over 34.5 million copies around the globe.

The game is the first release in 4 years (as a numbered series) and the story takes place roughly ten years after the events of the original Resident Evil.Bringing back Chris Redfield from the first series, the long time fans may have their grin.

Having the platform changed to Xbox360 and PS3, the graphics has become more realistic with higher quality.Also, the "Co-op" mode can have the screen divided for 2 players to cooperate. Online play using the network system of the Xbox360/PS3 enables the users to cooperate from different places using voice chat. This communication will be vital because the game will be over when either of the players dies.

Both Xbox360 and PS3 are distributing a limited edition that comes with the console. The Xbox360 version will come with a headset so the player can experience the voice chat system, where the 2 controller enclosed PS3 version will have the player enjoy playing with their family and friends off line.

Xbox360 will release another limited edition "Resident Evil 5 Deluxe Edition" that comes with "Resident Evil 5 Selection Tracks (Soundtrack CD)". Although the PS3 does not have a limited edition to match, the game Blu-ray disc will have "Resident Evil 5 Making Movie", Trailer from the movie "Resident Evil Generation".

Shops at Akihabara strongly advertised the latest release of the loved series. One poster had "It's been 13 years since the dog came breaking through the window..." from how the series all began.Sofmap amusement store had a demo-play session from 5pm and had a long line right from the start.
