PS2 "Amagami" Out! The latest from the "KimiKiss" crew, another Akiba hit "Amagami" for PlayStation 2 console has come out.

Produced by Enterbrain of KimiKiss fame, Amagami is another love story about a boy (you) finally plucking up his courage to go ask the girl of his dreams out.Due to a traumatic experience in the past, Christmas is a time that troubles you. However, you know that this is your last chance to ask your crush out, as this is her last year of high school. Brought to you by the staff of the popular game "KimiKiss", "Amagami" has been in the spotlight within Akiba fans.

Their are 6 variety rich main characters as "KimiKiss": Tsukasa Ayatsuji (CV:Kaori Nazuka) the elite class representative,Rihoko Sakurai (CV:Ryouko Shintani) the next door girl you grew up with, Kaoru Tanamachi (CV:Rina Sato) the girl-buddy, Sae Nakata (CV:Hiromi Konno) the innocent girl, Ai Nanasaki (CV:Yukana) sweet underclassman,Haruka Morishima (CV:Shizuka Ito) the natural-born boy killer.

The player is a high school junior trying to hook up with the girl of your dream. Many new systems such as "Action Map System" that enables the player to see where the heroine is, and "Conversation Mode" to become closer are added. There will be a "Reward Event" and "Date Event" when the player gets closer to the heroine, but the action from the player will be a must.

Purchase Special "Amagami Special Drama CD" from the maker includes the prequel to the game had "please enjoy this after you cleared the game". There are specials at each hobby shops such as telephone cards and postcards.

Game shops in Akihabara put a lot of energy to the area/posters for this much-ballyhooed "Moe game". Sofmap amusement store focused on "Haruka Morishima" giving telephone cards and putting up posters as a part of "It's "Sempai" time at Sofmap!" Sofmap Akihabara main store on the other hand had "Any "Lil' sis character" will do!" campaign and had a giant "Miya" (CV:Kana Asumi) board up.

Prices at Akiba shops were around 7,000yen with the telephone card and around 6,200yen without.
