"Suzumiya Haruhi no Heiretsu (The Parallel of Haruhi Suzumiya)" for Wii has come out.

"Suzumiya Haruhi no Heiretsu" is an adventure game for Wii based on the popular teen and young adult light novel series, "Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya)". The story starts from Haruhi gets an invitation for a dinner cruise on a luxurious cruise liner. Haruhi calls the SOS Brigade with Tsuruya which starts the "extraordinary Parallel Adventure".

The plot is an original by the animation staff. The story unfolds in countless ways according to the choices made by the player but the time loops to the beginning as the game reaches the ending. The player has to solve the mystery of this time loop as they go through the almost identical "Pararell universe" story.

The characters and the backdrops are all in 3D and the changing of the facial expressions can be enjoyed as well. New characters "Mikoto" and "Souichiro Ijyuuin" are included in the full voice game system.

Music, another major feature of the franchise, has "Sonomama JET JUMPER" and "I'm Freedom" ready for the fans performed by Aya Hirano, Minori Chihara,and Yuko Goto.

"Super SOS Brigade Heroine Collection" are included as a first release edition with figures of Haruhi (pirate), Mikuru Asahina (apron dress), and Yuki Nagato (space ninja). Packaged in a giant BOX with the Noizi Ito illustration. There is a comment of Haruhi "I'm not interested in the usual limited editions" on the box.

The shops had huge stages prepared for this awaited title about the same size from the release of "Suzumiya Haruhi no Gekidou", playing demo-movies. With each shops prepared with special telephone cards illustrated by different artists, the fans might have a hard time deciding where to buy.

Retail price at Akihabara was around 10,000yen (first release edition), 6200yen (regular edition)
