"K-On!" OP/ED CD out! "Cagayake!GIRLS" "Don't Say "lazy""Opening and closing themes from the TV anime "K-On!" has come out.



"K-On!" is a Japanese four-panel comic strip manga serialized on Houbunsha's seinen manga magazine "Manga Time Kirara" and "Manga Time Kirara Carat".

The story is about the daily life of Yui Hirasawa (guitar/Voiced by: Aki Toyosaki), Mio Akiyama (bass/Voiced by: Yoko Hikasa),Ritsu Tainaka (drums/Voiced by: Satomi Sato) and Tsumugi Kotobuki (keyboards/Voiced by: Minako Kotobuki) who belong to the light music club at Sakuragaoka High School.

The clear animation of the instrument play by Kyoto Animation has caught attention as well as the instruments themselves has been checked up at Amazon.co.jp.

The main vocal for the pop opening theme "Cagayake!GIRLS" is by Yui, while the shick closing theme "Don't Say "lazy"" is sung by Mio. The other girls are credited for backing vocals for both songs.


There are first press limited edition and a regular edition released. Each having a different cover and a "changable cover" with all four club members.

Anime shops in Akihabara had "K-On!" all over the place with PVs of Sakura high light music club playing. As the story being about music, the posters with"Our dream is to play at Budokan!" and the instruments the girls play were shown.

There will be a n original soundtrack of the TV anime out on June 3rd and a Blu-Ray/DVD released on July 29th. With many Akiba shops starting to take reservations, fans may need to rush.
