"Fuwa Fuwa Time" by Sakura High School Light Music Club (K-On!) out!
"Fuwa Fuwa Time", a tune from the TV animation "K-On!" has come out.
"K-On!" is a Japanese four-panel comic strip manga serialized on Houbunsha's seinen manga magazine "Manga Time Kirara" and "Manga Time Kirara Carat". The story is about the daily life of four high school girls belonging to the light music club in Sakura High School.
The animation started April 2009 by Kyoto Animation (Kyo Ani) and it quickly gained success. The opening/Closing themes has debut at no.4 and no.2 and stayed in the top 10 for 3 consecutive weeks. The instruments and headphones that the girls use has caught attention as well.
"Fuwa Fuwa Time" is a tune that Sakura High School Light Music Club played at their school festival in the 6th episode. The main vocal is Mio Akiyama (bass/CV:Yoko Hikasa), who won the popularity poll in Akihabara and Yui Hirasawa (guitar/CV:Aki Toyosaki), Ritsu Tainaka (drumsCV:Satomi Sato), and Tsumugi Kotobuki (keyboardsCV:Minako Kotobuki) doing chorus. The lyrics written by Mio is girly and cute while the song is a pop tune featuring the guitar.

"Tsubasa wo Kudasai", a famous Japanese folk tune's rock version is included as a c/w. The main vocals are Yui and Mio's twin vocal. Both songs' instrumental version is recorded as well as version without each parts (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards) for fans to practice at home.
Being the latest release from the hot TV anime, Akiba shops had large areas for the item. Shops showing video of the anime and hand-written posters with "Mio's Kyu-Kyun Moe lyrics finally out!" were seen.

The TV anime soundtrack will go on sale June 3rd, and Vol.1 Blu-Ray/DVD on July 29th.The character singles (Yui Hirasawa (CV:Aki Toyosaki) , Mio Akiyama (CV:Yoko Hikasa), Ritsu Tainaka (CV:Satomi Sato), Tsumugi Kotobuki (CV:Minako Kotobuki)) will go on sale July 15th.
