"Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann" is a robot-anime by GAINAX of "Neon Genesis Evangellion".Gurren Lagann takes place in a fictional future in which human beings have been forced under Earth's surface and live in isolated subterranean civilizations. The main character Simon and Kamina,The leader of "Team Gurren" fights the "Beastmen". Many mecha "Gunmen" including "Gurren Lagann" operated by Simon was the theme as well their friendship and growth. The TV animation was aired from 2007 and a theatrical version was released in 2008.
