Nana Mizuki tops the Oricon chart, as Seiyu first! Celebrating Akiba issues an extra

Nana Mizuki tops the Oricon chart, a seiyu first! Celebrating Akiba issues an extra Nana Mizuki achieved a ranking at #1 in Japan's Oricon weekly and became the first seiyu to accomplish that feat since the creation of Oricon and there were extras issued/displayed at Akihabara.

Nana Mizuki has held the record of placing at no.2 with her 6th original album "GREAT ACTIVITY", breaking the previous record held by herself and Megumi Hayashibara of no.3, but broke that record with her 7th album "ULTIMATE DIAMOND" released on the 3rd topping the album chart for the week of June 15th. It is the first time that a seiyu has topped the chart. The first sales estimated at 74,000 copies. The record for most albums for a seiyu is Megumi Hayashibara's "iravati" released in 1997 at 277,000 copies and its first sales at 163,000 copies.

AKIHABARA GAMERS main store celebrated this feat by issuing an extra-like flyer titled"Gamer-Spo", posted at AV related floors and also handed out to customers. There were "Gamers sold this most in the Universe!" "Gamers will continue supporting Nana Mizuki the most in the universe!" printed.

Flyers were handed out, but there were not many copies.		There will be a live show at Seibu Dome on July 5th

Nana Mizuki will hold a Dome performance "NANA MIZUKI LIVE DIAMOND 2009" at Seibu Dome on July 5th, a first time a seiyu to hold a live show at a dome-facility. There will be a special direct "DIAMOND EXPRESS" Seibu train that day with "Nana Mizuki Smile Gang" on aired on the train. A must check-out for fans.
