Image Song CD of "K-On!"'s Yui/Mio out! The 1st two character singles from the TV anime "K-On!" by "Yui Hirasawa" and "Mio Akiyama" has come out.

"K-On!" is a TV anime based on a Japanese four-panel comic strip manga serialized on Houbunsha's seinen manga magazine "Manga Time Kirara" and "Manga Time Kirara Carat". The story is about the daily life of four high school girls belonging to the light music club in Sakura High School. The animation started April 2009 and it quickly gained success, with not only the related items (novels, comics, CDs)attracting attention but the instruments that the girls were using. The story's 12th and final episode will on air June 18th (there will be a spin off 13th episode) with fans on the net saddened by the fact.

The CDs that were released were by Sakura High School Light Music Club's beginner guitarist Yui Hirasawa (CV:Aki Toyosaki) and the shy bassist Mio Akiyama (CV:Yoko Hikasa). The tracks feature the instruments they play as well as their characters.

It also includes each character versions of their practice tune "Let's Go!" that was used on Web radio "Radi-On!". The fans might want to listen to the different arrangements for each character.

Shops played CM movies featuring Yui and Mio

Asobit Game City had an area titled "Let's Band Battle!" where Yui and Mio goes head on. There was a comment that read "we are holding a "which is the main character?!" cup competition". The result of the 3rd character poll was out and a new poll featuring Yui and Mio has started. A must for fans of the two.

The 3rd and 4th image song CD of "K-On!" by Ritsu Tainaka (CV:Satomi Sato) and Tsumugi Kotobuki (CV:Minako Kotobuki) will go on sale August 26th.
