"EVANGELION:2.0 -YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE-" Original Soundtrack has come out.

"EVANGELION:2.0 -YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE-" is the second and the latest release of the "Neon Genesis EVANGELION New Theatrical Edion" series. The story is an original with "Mari Illustrious Makinami "(CV: Maaya Sakamoto) that did not appear in the TV series and Asuka's name changed to "Asuka Langley Shikinami". The title is extremely popular and has taken in general viewers as well as OTAKU since its release on June 27th and has drawn 1 million attendance in 10days. "EVANGELION:2.0 -YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE-" Original Soundtrack is an album with music used in the film produced by Shirou Sagisu. The tracks include the BGM from the story and the dramatic tunes sung by Megumi Hayashibara. For those who have already seen it can listen to enjoy the story again while for those who haven't can buy it for future reference.

The first press release "SPECIAL EDITION" is a double disk box set with a 28 page booklet and a special disc. The special disc has the full recordings of the BGM. The regular edition has the same tracks as Disc1 of the special edition and comes with a 20 page booklet.

Also comic magazine "Young Ace Vol.1" from Kadokawa Shoten went on sale. Rei Ayanami took the cover and the comic version (a.k.a. Sadamoto EVA) that has been running for over 10 years has started its serialization. The appendix is the "Mari Illustrious Makinami Plug suit version" figure produced by Kaiyodo.

The figure comes with a optional face part that users can choose to display with or without the headgear.
