Comic "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya-chan Vol.3 Ultra limited edition !" has come out.
"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya-chan" is the official gag comic from the major hit light novel/TV anime "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". The story is a venturously arranged comedy with all of the characters are deformed, such as Haruhi (or "Haruhi-chan" in the story) being bit more innocent than the original and Nagato is not a bookworm but an OTAKU hooked onto girl games.
"The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya-chan Vol.3 Ultra limited edition !" is the limited edition of Vol.3 of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya-chan". The comic (limited edition book cover ver.) comes with a special "The past of Kazuki Koizumi" booklet and "Nendoroid Yuki Nagato Haruhi-chan ver." figure by Good Smile Company.
The feature appendix figure comes with bunny-eared headphones and Kimidori-san the unknown creature as changable parts. The fulfilled look on her face with a laptop computer to play games with in her hands gives it a "Haruhi-chan" feeling.
The "Nendoroid Puchi", a popular figure series and having Haruhi-chan version of Nagato added to the comic, all eyes were on the comic and the bookstores had them stacked face up. Shoppers buying in volumes were seen. The regular edition will go on sale July 25th.
AKIHABARA GAMERS main store's 2nd/3rd floors had areas with bamboo leaf displays. This is for the star festival and the title "Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody" in the story. Like in the story, the shop staff put up their wishes to the bamboo shoots.
Anime shops in Akihabara has started taking reservations for the DVD "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 4 Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody" that will go on sale August 28th. There will be a "Nagato Yuki Limited Edition" as a Gamers limited with "Nagato Sleeve", "Special bookcover and bookmark set" that is fully for the "Nagoto is MY wife" people.
Also, AKIHABARA GAMERS main store is holding a "Ultra Reservation Campaign". People reserving the DVD between July 8th to August 26th will receive a DVD advertisement poster.
