2 Haruhi's Best Album out!

2 Haruhi's Best Album out! From the TV animation "Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", the best of album "Suzumiya Haruhi no Kiroku" and "Suzumiya Haruhi no Kioku" has come out.

"Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" is a popular light novel series serialized on Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko. The story is about the bossy, boredom hating high school girl Haruhi Suzumiya and SOS Brigade which she has made.

Unlike the regular "School-based" story, the characters include Aliens, Time-Travellers and Espers, it is noted to be "Un-everyday school-based story" and the 2nd season is being aired. It has stirred up a controversy with the episode "Endless Eight" where the SOS Brigade is caught in a time-loop in their summer vacation and aired almost the same episode for 7 weeks.

The "Suzumiya Haruhi no Kiroku" and "Suzumiya Haruhi no Kioku" that has been released is a best of album with songs collected from the TV anime "Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" ."Suzumiya Haruhi no Kiroku" is a compilation of 9 character songs relreased between 2006 to 2007. The 14 tracks include "Parallel Days" that Haruhi sings, Nagato's trans-tune "Yuki, Muon, Madobe Nite"and Kyon's singing (or talking?) "Kentai Life Returns!".

"Suzumiya Haruhi no Kioku" , on the other hand, has 11 songs of SOS Brigade girls. Haruhi (CV: Aya Hirano), Yuki Nagato (CV: Minori Chihara) and Mikuru Asahina (CV: Yuko Goto). "Hare Hare Yukai" that became famous with the Haruhi dance as well as original tunes from games are included.

Anime shops in Akihabara held big campaigns opening special areas for Haruhi products. AKIHABARA GAMERS main store displayed the albums with the resently released "Super Driver", and many customers with "Kiroku", "Kioku" and "Super Driver" heading to the cashier were seen.

The reservations for the DVD ""Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 5.142857" TV animation has started. Its volume number bears decimal digits "5.142857" and features episode 12 and 13 "Endless Eight". The limited edition is a 2 disc set with a special disc and comes with special goods including vol.2 of "SOS Brigade Memory Album". Like they did with "Bamboo Rhapsody", AKIHABARA GAMERS main store will prepare a "Limited Yuki Nagato Edition".


"Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" area at AKIHABARA GAMERS main store's 2nd floor "Suzumiya Haruhi no Kiroku" and "Suzumiya Haruhi no Kioku" both comes with a purchase special postcard


Giant wall poster at POCKET PLUS ONE "Off we go! To the other other side of eternity!!"	"Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 5.142857" on DVD will have a Gamers special package released	There will be a new character song coming out


Special area held as "Recommended Anime" at comic TORANOANA Reservations for "Bamboo Rhapsody" DVD has started		anime picture card as a special (left: Kiroku / right: Kioku)
