K-On! Vol.1 on Blu-ray tops ORICON chart!

「けいおん！」ブルーレイ第1巻、オリコン総合1位を獲得！　初動売上は「マクロスF」超え It has become clear that "K-ON !" Vol. 1 on Blu-ray that went on sale July 29th will reach No.1 on ORICON Blu-ray general feature ranking for August 10th.

The sales is recorded as 33,000 copies, passing the previous record by a TV animation held by Vol.1 of "Macross Frontier" (Released July 25th, 2008) of 22,000 copies. It has also ranked 2nd in the general feature chart behind "EVANGELION 1.11 You Are (NOT) Alone"'s 49,000 copies sold in the first week.

The DVD edition that was released on the same day has sold 8,000 units and is ranked in at 7th on the DVD general chart. On the same note, mini-album "After School Tea Time" has topped the album chart, the first anime character ever to accomplish the feat on a single/album chart on its July 22nd issue.
