Anime Mags on sale on the 10th(September 2009)
Introducing the latest issue of 3 major names in Anime Magazines (all on sale the 10th every month) "ANIMAGE (Tokuma Shoten)" "ANIMEDIA (Gakken)" and "NewType (Kadokawa Shoten)" !
Last month (August 2009 issue) , 2 magazines had "K-ON!" and the other had "EVANGELION:2.0 -YOU CAN (NOT) ADVANCE-" on their covers. This month, Animage and Animedia has "FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST" and NewType has "Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya". It is the first time Haruhi took the cover since the April 2009 issue of NewType.
The "new" TV animation series of "Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" that started this April had fans revved up with the airing of the "Bamboo leaf Rhapsody" as their 8th episode but things turned around from "Endless Eight" (episode 12). The story of the SOS Brigade caught in a time loop, the animation aired almost the exact same episode for 8 weeks. This unheard production had disgusted fans and criticism all over.
The latest issue of NewType held an "Endless Eight" Conclusion special. Interviews from the author Nagaru Tanigawa, main staff Tatsuya Ishihara, Yasuhiro Takemoto, and Atsushi Ito as well as the information on what will be coming up. There will also be a B2 poster as an appendix.
