"Macross Ultimate Frontier" for PSP has come out.
PSP"Macross Ultimate Frontier" is a prequel to the "Macross Ace Frontier", a shooting game developed by Artdink for the PlayStation Portable. The game is based on Studio Nue's popular Macross series that was released October 2008. The "Chronical Mode" enables users to reenact the famous scenes from the original titles while the new additional features and mecha are added. (further info in the article below).

With the recent "Macross Frontier" fad under its belt, the sales at Akiba shops were doing well. "Quite some sales from the morning...", was heard from Asobit Game City where both regular and Nyan Nyan Pack were sold out. Other shop staffs' comments heard were: "being a sequel of a hit title, it will have a stable number of sales" "with titles from the past series as well as the latest frontier, this title can lure wide range of fans"
The retail price at Akihabara were around 4,500 yen for the regular edition and around 6,300 yen for the The Super Dimension Nyan Nyan Pack.
