Anime Mags on sale on the 10th(November 2009) Introducing the latest issue of 3 major names in Anime Magazines ( all on sale the 10th every month) "ANIMAGE (Tokuma Shoten)" "ANIMEDIA (Gakken)" and "NewType (Kadokawa Shoten)"!

Last month's cover (October issue) had different titles with "K-ON!", "FAIRY TAIL" "Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and is also the case this month as well. ANIMAGE brought "Hetalia Axis Powers" that is popular to the ladies, while ANIMEDIA selected "Macross Frontier The Movie: The False Diva" that will hit the theaters next month and NewType came up with the cover & special of "Kobato." that started its animation. It is the first time that"Hetalia Axis Powers" has made it as the cover in the 3 major magazine.

"Hetalia Axis Powers"is a popular animation among women personified countries. That has started out from a web comic and spread out to drama CDs and animation. The story centers around in the WW I and WW II with personified countries as the characters. With most of the characters being handsome/beautiful, it is popular among women (in BL Doujin areas), but has caused controversy with Korean net-users causing a commotion from its setup followed by other countries criticising Korea in return.

"Hetalia Axis Powers" announced the production of a theatrical feature. It is expected to go out in 2010 and Vol.3 of the comics will go on sale in spring the same year.

In this month's issue of ANIMAGE, an interview between director Bob Shirahata and producer Keiichi Matsuda, and seiyu of Italia Daisuke Namikawa, Seiyus of Germany and Japan, Hirotaka Yasumoto and Hiroki Takahashi as the special. It also has A4 size clear folder as an apendix. The cover is the picture of China and Japan. "Hetalia" is featured in the women's anime magazine "PASH!" as well.
