A weekly publication that analyzes and explains the world of "Neon Genesis EVANGELION", "EVANGELION Chronicles" will start its publication from January 18th, 2010. The publication is for 40 issues, the inaugural issue is priced at 390 yen(From the second issue, 690 yen).
"EVANGELION Chronicles" will be the official "EVANGELION" only guidebook which is fully backed up by GAINAX. Centering on the TV series and the original theatrical edition released in 1997, it explains the story, EVA, characters, angels, equipments strategies and NERV Head Quarters with pictures and setting information. Info on the new theatrical edition will go on from the 31st issue.
The pages will be all in color with illustrations of characters will go on every issue. Inauguration issue will have a special binder with pictures of "Rei Ayanami" and "Kaworu Nagisa" as an appendix.
A special "Rei Ayanami" figure present with full set purchase is also scheduled.
