Introducing game titles released this week!
Our first pick is from the popular "Lucky Star" franchise, an idol producing simulation game, "Lucky Star Net-Idol Meister"
The player becomes a manager in the "Lucky Star" parallel universe where Akihabara creates a project to boost up the area, selects a character and produces her to an internet idol.
The game spans across Akiba, Bukuro, Konata's town and the internet world and produces the character through auditions and part time jobs consisting of mini-games. The aim is to win the final audition and gaining fans and blob receptions.
Along with the regular edition of "Lucky Star Net-Idol Meister", " Lucky Star Net-Idol Meister DX Pack" that comes with the 5 idol cheering items; "Konata Izumi x Hatsune-Miku internet idol Collaboration T-shirt", "Fuwaffuwa Muffler Towel", "BAN*BAN Stick Balloon", "Bishhi Bishi Cheering Head band", "Kirra Kira Cyalume set" is also on sale.
The sales of the title didn't look too well with staffs commenting "The game targets fans of the title but it seems that because Comiket is near..." "We thought these specials would draw more purchase...". Although there seemed to be hard core fans buying along with the DVD "Lucky Star in Budokan -Anata No Tame Dakara-" that came out this week.
The 2nd title is the latest release from the popular action-adventure "The Legend of Zelda" franchise, "The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks".
The spirits of good watched over the Hyrulean people. However, this small period of peace soon came to an end when the evil Demon King, Malladus, appeared, seeking to destroy all the land. Malladus was sealed deep beneath the earth; giant shackles were forged and a huge Tower of Spirits was erected to maintain the seal on Malladus. The game opens up with Link - an apprentice railroad engineer - who travels to the castle of Princess Zelda to attend a graduation ceremony where the honor of Royal Engineer will be bestowed onto him by the princess herself. And so the adventure of Link starts on the tracks.
The game system acquired the touch panel operational system which enables players to make most of the movement on their instinct. Along with the basic running and sword wielding, it is possible to move Link's partner separately by drawing lines on the screen.
The biggest attraction of the "Zelda" series, the mystery solving part has been highly upgraded as well. New items using the touch panel pen and microphone and gimmick to solve a riddle with a partner makes this title richer than the previous ones. For further details, see article below:

Sales at Akiba shops seemed quite well with comments like, "It has stable sales, as its a classic title" and "It doesn't have the explosive sales, but it's doing well".
