Vol.1 of Kimi ni Todoke out, already short on stock!

The Vol. 1 DVD of TV anime that is said to be this season's best, "Kimini Ni Todoke" has come out.

"Kimi ni Todoke" is a TV anime based on a romance shojo manga by Karuho Shiina . It has been published by Shueisha in Bessatsu Margaret. The love/friendship story evolves around Sawako Kuronuma (CV: Mamiko Noto) , called Sadako from her classmates and feared and misunderstood and popular boy, Shota Kazehara (CV: Daisuke Namikawa).

This anime features the gap of painfulness "High schooler-ish" description and comical deformation added by seiyus Yuko Sampei, Miyuki Sawashiro, Yuuichi Nakamura, and Aya Hirano, is called the the best non-BL female targeted anime of the season, if not this year. The game that came out this October （"Kimi ni Todoke: Sodateru Omoi" for Nintendo DS) is still running short on stock.

This Vol. 1 features episodes 1 to 3. The first package specials include chibi-Sawako mascot (drama ver.), secret trading note, original picture card and a ticket to get the box to fit full set. The mascot is a series which Sawako will be in various costumes and will come with later volumes. Vol.2 will come with Sawako in a tangerine outfit. The audio special contains a spin-off voice drama from original novel story "Kimi ni Todoke -Ashita ni Nareba-" and a back stage talk by the cast.

We were able to confirm stock at Sofmap Akihabara main store and Sofmap amusement store (and probably Animate Akihabara store) on the 22nd, but both shops were sold out on the 24th. Although the title's main target is female, many male male fans contribute to this light stock.

There were many sold out shops on Kakaku.com （7 out of 13 shops were sold out at this time).
