The 3rd generation of the Slant-standing CPU cooler "KATANA 3" out

The sample of Scythe Co.'s LGA1366 CPU cooler "KATANA III"（SCKTN-3000） has docked and will go on sale from the 9th.

Scythe Co.'s "KATANA III"（SCKTN-3000） is a CPU cooler with a distinctive Slanted-fin style. It is the latest installment of their "KATANA" series with multiple aluminum fins set on heatpipe. The fins are able to be used for other components as well as the fins can be switched to a 90 Diameter fan that supports PWM.

The basic spec are: 94×108×143mm (complete size), 495g in weight, three 6mm/diameter heatpipes are used. There is a 90 degree fan with 6.7CFM～55.55CFM wind power. 7.2dBA～31.07dBA noise and 300rpm～2,500rpm±10% RPM. Supporting sockets are Intel LGA1366/775/478, AMD Socket AM2（AM2+）/940/939 etc.

The expected price at Dospara Akihabara main store is set at 3,480 yen.
